Tim Robbins Joins The Green Lantern

Tim Robbins will be joining the new Green Lantern movie where he’ll play Senator Hammond, the father of the movie’s bad guy Hector Hammond (played by Peter Sarsgaard). The Green Lantern is about a test pilot who is granted a mystical green ring that bestows him with otherworldly powers, as well as membership into an intergalactic squadron tasked with keeping peace within the universe. It stars Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, and Peter Sarsgaard, and it’ll be released on June 17, 2011.
