Lightning Hybrids LH4 Concept

Last week, at the Denver Auto Show, Lightning Hybrids debuted their LH4 100 MPG hydraulic hybrid.  The LH4 Concept uses a three-cylinder biodiesel engine (that substitutes a hydraulic pump/motor for the electric motor), that is capable of going 100 mpg, goes from 0-62 mph in 6 seconds, and should cost if it ever goes into production between $39,000-$59,000.
